    Rooms are tired&need updating but clean&cheap-no tv in room&no ensuite, but private bathroom

    Place is clean and tidy. Owners seem nice, although they were away during our visit. No WiFi.

    We were very comfortable here and enjoyed the old-fashioned ambience of the lodge. We had private bathrooms so felt quite pampered compared to others. Our main positive experience was that one of our party (a youngster) lost his holiday money at the lodge and Lorraine and Brian tracked it down for us and sent it on. That's personal service and so thoughtful. We were really impressed and very grateful.
