  This busy takeaway/cafe seems to be the most popular spot in Strahan - with locals and tourists. The prices are reasonable and the portions are sizeable. Note that if you want to dine in, you need to order before 6:30 pm. We had a takeaway scotch fillet steak, chips and salad for $22. The food was cooked properly but without seasoning - luckily we had our own salt and pepper which made it palatable. The service was good even though the staff were incredibly busy.

  I sniffed this place out, looking for suspicious evidence such as hydrogen tanks and fissile material stockpiles. The only thing I did sniff, however, was the bacon and egg roll and coffee. I passed the gent $10 in cold crisp notes. He had asked for 9$9.50.
